So I may not get to go to grad school after all. I won't bore you with the details of why, but in brief I just don't think I can afford it - not even with loans, because I'd have to borrow too much money and the terms for the loans that I'm eligible to take out are terrible.

So I'm exploring alternate options. This draws me back to when I was finishing high school and trying to decide whether I wanted to go into academics or art/design school. At the time I chose academics, and so I am now about to receive my anthropology degree... but I'm wondering if this isn't my cue to take the other road and go off to study something like digital animation or game design or virtual reality. I figure, if I was willing to spend 5-8 more years in school pursuing a PhD, I can devote half that time to getting more lucrative qualifications. I mean, hey, at least design school would set me up with directly employable skills - not to mention, I feel like the muse has been neglected more than I'd have liked these past four years...
Nothing is certain yet, but I'll keep you posted.

I shall send you a note about how I handle commissions, trades, and things like that - though I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by "colbaz". Please explain?
These are all digital images, for the most part (although many of the pieces begin with a pencil or ink sketch, which is then scanned in and worked on). I'm afraid I don't know how to describe the technique without demonstrating it, except to say that they are "digitally painted".
As for how I found you... I know it was from following a link that someone on my watchlist posted (either they mentioned you or I saw something by you in their collection of faves), but I can't recall more than that, sorry!
YOUR WORK IS VERY MOVING AND I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW U DO THAT!
(and how u found my page to view it! im kinda curious! thankz)

We don't love "because", but "despite".
This is why there is no such thing as perfect. A flawless beauty would be blank without any appeal nor character. Its scars are what defines it and what inspires emotion... from that moment, it becomes art.
